Dear All, Oozing the Nature of Christ in Burundi! I’m writing this from Nairobi airport, Kenya. We’ve just had a slightly hair-raising experience with technical problems mid-flight to Burundi, so we had to turn back, and when we landed safely again a few minutes ago there was much clapping and relief. Thanks for your prayers. I’m always grateful to be covered, and never take safety for granted, particularly on this continent! Yesterday before leaving Lizzie reflected that all the times (and they have been mercifully few) that the kids have been at their sickest have been when I’ve been away on my travels. Coincidence, or the enemy at work? Either way, we’d value your prayers over all of them as much as over me. Grace seemed to be going down with something as I left. Zac’s doing very well in general. Josiah’s now three-months-old and is a gurgling chilled-out delight most of the time, and nearly sleeping through the night now. Thank you Lord! So the film project is now formally launched. We are getting beautifully bombarded with orders, but I’d expect that as we have a big network. But my prayer is that it’ll take off to another level, way beyond the GLO team. And for that to happen, I really do need all of you, so please pray on for this, and if you haven’t ordered yet, please get a few now on www.more-than-conquerors.com I’ll be in Burundi for the next two weeks, spending time with all our partners, listening a lot, networking, following up on KCC stuff (by the way, do enjoy a quick look at their polished new website which is just about ready for launch – www.kccburundi.org), generally keeping up on what’s going on. Olivia’s doing a great job and I trust her completely, but bi-annual visits will help the smooth-running of what we do. Meg’s leaving shortly, and I thank God for her contribution over the last year - do pray God’s blessing on her next steps. We still have no news on our visa application, so it looks like we’ll be in England for Christmas. It’s not what we expected but we trust God for the timing. OK, that’s it for now. Thanks again to you all, God bless you in His work. I’ll leave you with some words from Smith Wigglesworth: “Live ready. If you have to get ready when the opportunity comes your way, you’ll be too late. Opportunity doesn’t wait, not even while you pray. You must not have to get ready, you must live ready at all times. Be filled with the Spirit; that is, be soaked with the Spirit. Be so soaked that every thread in the fabric of your life will have received the requisite rule of the Spirit – then when you are misused and squeezed to the wall, all that will ooze out of you will be the nature of Christ.” Simon Guillebaud
