Dear Warriors,

Hope

Please keep the prayers coming, so key for us in the battle.

Feedback:

Muslim-convert is still paranoid, in fear of his life, but he can't live like that forever, pray he is protected, and released from the fear which stops him living.

APRID - no developments, very sticky, Josee needs to repent and somehow pay back the $15k she stole. Others implicated in defending her and protecting her, need God's conviction. Pray we get our money back for work with other faiths to continue.

Spiritual dryness - hopefully improving. We are starting a homegroup for ex-pats this Thursday as we/they get so little input. The take-up has been huge and enthusiastic, maybe too many(!) highlighting the need. Hope that helps all of us.

Coming up:

Can you pray for Saturday-Tuesday's youth camp please - several hundred youths coming, representing the Christian leadership of many schools, we fire them up and give them hours and hours of teaching (and I mean hours - from 630am to 1030pm every day. I always really want a break to kick a football around or something but they call me back in and tell me we must carry on receiving teaching - such is the hunger and gratitude for spiritual food!) These camps have been very significant in the past, so may the Holy Spirit meet with us in power yet again, so that we all spread out around the country and take the blessing wherever we go. Always pray for safety. It turns out last week's accident ended up with our 4x4 truck vertical hanging over the cliff, wedged on a sawn-off tree stump! Certain death for our five guys averted by God's clear intervention or the freakiest of coincidence. You choose!

Also, on Easter Monday, an intensive Evangelism Explosion training week is starting up - if these guyz catch the vision and take it forward, it will totally transform their denomination. The Muslims and Jehovah's Witnesses are growing so fast precisely because they 'go' with their message, whereas the churches largely expect people to come to them to listen. EE is very much about 'going', and is very effective. Please pray they really 'get it', and go!

Things well in the Gilbo clan. Here's closing with a gross local custom:

the mothers here, when their baby's nose is running, literally stick their mouth over the whole nose area, suck up into their own mouth and swallow their baby's snot - disguuuuuuuuuustiiiiiing!!!

Together in the battle,

Simon Guillebaud
