GIVE THANKS

Ø that we have another opportunity to encourage the church in Burundi and share in its ministry.

Ø that Sue from Angmering church and Joan from the MAM Forum are joining us.

Ø that the new President has made a good start and that there are signs of peace.

v      our health, stamina and safety on the roads;

v      strong partnership with our African brethren.

 

WHAT WE HOPE TO DO

Feb 8th – 11th in Bujumbura seeing the work done with those traumatised and widows & orphans.

One day a week, Pat will be teaching Colossians (in French) in the Theological College;

3 day visits to each of the 5 archdeaconries in Matana diocese
- Pat teaching discipleship (in Kirundi from 1 Timothy) to the pastors and Church teachers
- Miranda and Eularie
teaching on AIDS etc.
- Pélagie (MU), Pam and Sue/Joan teaching the women 
- testing eyes and distributing hundreds of reading glasses.

Weekend visits during Lent to the hill churches
