Prayer Requests

The situation of famine in our Country is far of passing because after the drought we have had heavy and continuing rains even out of season. This has affected our main foods (beans and rice) grown in the main agricultural season. -Hundreds of houses, roads and bridges have been destroyed. The worse is that also many tombs were destroyed and people are crying and burying again their beloved ones. -An epidemic of malaria is sweeping the country and thousands of people are affected. Please continue to pray for that.

Youth

The Youth of St Luke’s Parish in Gitega organized a big Camp on the theme “Awake, awake, put on thy strength, o Zion ; put on thy beautiful garments o Jerusalem , the Holy city….” (Isaiah 52:1- 3) The preacher was Mr KAVURA from Bujumbura Diocese .More than 800 people attended and 63 people accepted Christ as their personal Saviour while many others affirmed their faith. Glory be to God.
